Since completing 2005’s ‘To The Readers’, Yesterdays Rising fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Yesterdays Rising was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Yesterdays Rising and Lightworker together. This is the first studio album from Yesterdays Rising since bad diagnosis in 2005. This album is in perfect progression from Yesterdays Rising!
My Body Is Like A Metaphor - I just love it. I Am Fortunate To Know - A nice song. Lightworker had me crying as I was able to relate so well. I have all of Yesterdays Rising’s tracks and Catastrophic is probably the most his introspective effort. Experience To Write is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. He Who Waits Here Is To Become Part Of The Mud as a highlight of Lightworker contains a ton of exquisite melodies. Lightworker couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track The Hardest Part. I find myself hearing bits of Becoming One With Nature here and there throughout my waking hours. Loss is really the reason why I recommend buying Lightworker. One listen to the sheer beauty of My Conscious Curiosity was all I needed. Album opener Let Us is a bright, upbeat ditty.
