Chronic Tronic - Amon Tobin is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. Dark Lady - DJ Food rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Amon Tobin must have run out of lyrics on the next track Twister - Tipper. There is cool mix of music in Quality Control (acapella) - Jurassic 5. Overall a nice softer song. Got Numb - Mob Nation was the first single release from the album Recorded Live: Solid Steel Presents. Pressure Cooker - Cherrystones is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Science Fu Part 1 - Danny Breaks is simple, dignified and effective, Amon Tobin refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Marine Machines - Amon Tobin sets the tone for the entire album. It took me a little time but I ended up loving You=B9s a Jaco Pastorius looking Motherfucker. Schmalla - Facs & Scythe is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Once Cougar Merkin - Amon Tobin gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. First time I heard Higher Rates - Silent Witness & Break was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Cuba (original) - T Power is so unique, as each one of the songs is. In Moon Palace - Icarus it becomes nowhere more obvious that Amon Tobin has yet to define own style. Reactionary - Controller 7 is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Nakatali - Topogigio is a great opener for Recorded Live: Solid Steel Presents. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. In Night Life - Amon Tobin full palet of sound is used by Amon Tobin to accentuate the presentation. You have to get essence of the Fear - Amon Tobin’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Escape - Amon Tobin is a exquisite song and it grows on you. After you’ve listened to Deep Impact - Future Prophecies, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Spanner in the Worx - Exile great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I was truly moved when I heard Allergic - Deep Roots. Charming song, great melody. Amon Tobin sings Total Recall - Silent Witness & Break in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Sittin Here - Dizzee Rascal I just LOVE this mix! Proper Hoodige - Amon Tobin defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone.
