This eight-song debut EP shows the promise that John Zorn has. This is the first studio album from John Zorn since bad diagnosis in 2004. There is no doubt that John Zorn has talent. If I may, I suggest “Tekufah”. That one song is amazing!
I was truly moved when I heard Idalah-Abal. Hadasha is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Hath-Arob is a strong cut, one of many. Yatzar is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Lilin - another great track from the 50th Birthday Celebration Vol.4 album. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
