Now signed to John Zorn’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “Masada String Trio: 50th Birthday Celebration, Vol. 1″ leads John Zorn’s back-to-school campaign. It has been fourteen years John Zorn’ last studio CD, “Masada String Trio: 50th Birthday Celebration, Vol. 1″ which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. On the Portugal charts, superstar John Zorn’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Masada String Trio: 50th Birthday Celebration, Vol. 1.
Moshav is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. John Zorn is one of artists that allow his songs like Ner Tamid to stand on their own and be heard. Strong, powerful vocals of John Zorn in Karet are very impressive. Kedushah is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Best song on the album, love it. Sippur is a song to enjoy for years to come. Malkut is probably one of John Zorn’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Lachish is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Abidan is probably the most interesting track on Masada String Trio: 50th Birthday Celebration, Vol. 1. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Tahah.
