After seeing Mon Pays, I had to have a good Faudel cd. There is so much to love about Faudel, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Since completing 2006’s ‘Mon Pays’, Faudel fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Last Hot Album by Faudel
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Elle Chante Pour Moi is the song that really did it for me. In Dis-Leur Qu’Ils Aiment Faudel is at his best. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Alger-Usa - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Nos Racines which is my favorite is a truly Faudel sounding song. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Les Enfants De La Mer is a great opener for Mundial Corrida. Si On M’Avait Dit - This one makes me want to not only sing along. In Un Sourire De Silence the music gets its power. Faudel is hitting on all cylinders in Bonus Track.
