Since Yeti last CD (Volume Obliteration Transcendence) on Capitol Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Yeti on ‘Black Pills’. Thom Yorke has compared writing for Yeti’s new album to that on ‘Volume Obliteration Transcendence’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Blood Lotus (6:56) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Strangled By Light is absolutely incredible.
