‘Free Fall Into Fear’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Self-described as Metal: Gothic with lots of words, Trail of Tears comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. two years ago, Trail of Tears briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Carriers Of The Scars Of Life”. This album is a scorcher!
Music of Carriers Of The Scars Of Life is gentle, never overbearing. In Frail Expectation it becomes nowhere more obvious that Trail of Tears has yet to define own style. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Watch You Fall is beautiful, yet underrated track. The Architecht Of My Downfall is a cool sing-along. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Point Zero is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. A unique and uplifting song. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Free Fall Into Fear is The Face Of Jealousy.
