Thom Yorke has compared writing for Stone Age’s new album to that on ‘Stone Age’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Stone Age had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album has some very good songs like Stonage and Zo Laret. I Love Stone Age from start to finish!
This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Kervador is the first taste of the new album. The sound in Ultra Breizh is really warm and Stone Age’s signature voice is still very much present. After you’ve listened to Yesterday’s Child, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Some call Kalon Mari from Stone Age as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Sellet is the albums biggest surprise. Reel Legend gives taste of what makes Stone Age special as a musician. Stone Transe is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Still going through Stone Age and coming to appreciate Ti Plad more and more with every listen.
