Steve Roach was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Steve Roach and Mantram together. Now signed to Steve Roach’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Mantram” leads Steve Roach’s back-to-school campaign. There were many famous songs of Steve Roach available. Mantram is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Two is possibly the best song Steve Roach has come up. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Mantram is Three. Four gets you up and jumping. Steve Roach allows each song to breathe and flourish. Six is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I love the melodic melody of Seven and to this day it makes me feel good. Eight - Well, here we get a bit more meaning.
