On the Turkey charts, superstar Skyfire’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Skyfire energies, virtually a rebirth. This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that Skyfire has. Spectral touched my soul like nothing else.
Effusion Of Strength is a bit of a show-tune. Shivering Shade is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Cursed By Belief is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Spectral. Awake is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Void Of Hope is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Skyfire rocks harder than ever with A Dead Mans Race. Shadow Creator is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Still going through Spectral and coming to appreciate Tranquillitys Maze more and more with every listen.
