On the Finland charts, superstar Public Enemy’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Bring that Beat Back: the Remix Project touched my soul like nothing else.
Gotta Give The Peeps What They Need (Impossebull Soulpower Posse Mixx) is the more seemingly obscure song on Bring that Beat Back: the Remix Project that bear up best to repeated listening. Watch The Door (Warhammer On Watch Mixx) is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Supermans Black In The Building (Maulty T Remix) was the first single release from the album Bring that Beat Back: the Remix Project. Mklcfkwr (Dj Johnny Juice On The Loose Remix) is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Public Enemy No. 1 (Deelo 2g1 Remix) is a exquisite sing-along. Do You Wanna Go Our Way (23 Skidoo Uk Remix) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. When listening to World Tour Sessions (Rae and Christian Remix), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. In Put It Up (Molotov Cocktail Assault Mixx) it becomes nowhere more obvious that Public Enemy has yet to define own style. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
