On the Portugal charts, superstar Popa Chubby’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is my first Popa Chubby Album and i must say i am blown away.
Buffalo Chips has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Popa Chubby’s strong vocals come to the fore. All of songs on Stealing the Devil’s Guitar and have something to say letting alone In This World. Long Deep Hard And Wide - A catchy, upbeat tune. Don’t judge Preacher Man on the first listening. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Stealing the Devil’s Guitar. Slide Devil Man Slide - My least favorite song on this album. Smuggler s Game is the album’s biggest hit, I think. I like the idea behind Stoned Again. Put The Devil s Guitar into car stereo for your highway driving Virgil And Smokey is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Walking With Amar - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Why I Can t Have You - To me, this is the best song on the Stealing the Devil’s Guitar. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
