Since completing 2005’s ‘Loading’, Neuroticfish fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Since Neuroticfish last CD (Gelb (Limited Edition) (CD 1)) on Blue Note Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. Now signed to Neuroticfish’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “Gelb (Limited Edition) (CD 1)” leads Neuroticfish’s back-to-school campaign. Smart music for smart people.
Why Don’t You Hate Me - A nice song. The Bomb is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. I Don’t Need The City is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. I Never Chose You is Neuroticfish’s best work in years. Waving Hands is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Short Commercial Break - arguably the best track on Gelb (Limited Edition) (CD 1) album. Ich Spuere Keinen Schmerz has a fun tempo. This track is full of harmonies and gets Gelb (Limited Edition) (CD 1) off to a relaxing start. I can’t stop humming along You’re The Fool. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Vocals of Neuroticfish in They Are Coming To Take Me Away really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Suffocating Right is one of the best records ever.
