For older fans Auterretratos Vol.1 will put a massive smile accross your face. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Luis Eduardo Aute on ‘Aleluya Numero 1/Ver.2′. three years ago, Luis Eduardo Aute briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Pasaba por Aqui”. Pasaba por Aqui - My least favorite song on this album. No Se Que Cono Me Pasa Hoy is the most memorable and perfect. Anda is Luis Eduardo Aute’s best work in years. No Te Desnudes Todavia hits the heart. Luis Eduardo Aute is hitting on all cylinders in Tripas Corazon. Vailima is the albums biggest surprise. Music of Alguna Manera is gentle, never overbearing. Song Por el Mar is actually a funny song. Volver a Verte - To me, this is the best song on the Auterretratos Vol.1. Hafa Cafe is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Mojandolo Todo is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Dos is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Queda La Musica/Ver.1 is another strong production from Luis Eduardo Aute. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Cada Vez Que Me Amas. Al Alba has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Luis Eduardo Aute’s strong vocals come to the fore. Belleza one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I was truly moved when I heard Rosas en el Mar. Dos O Tres Segundos de Ternura make listening to Luis Eduardo Aute like being in some sort of time warp. Paso - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Luis Eduardo Aute offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Siento Que Te Estoy Perdiendo is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Music in Sin Tu Latido is excellent as in all tracks of Auterretratos Vol.1. I believe Con un Beso por Fusil is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. A great put together song. This song is dynamic and dramatic. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Slowly - This one is lively and fun. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Albanta/Ver.1, which shows, blatantly, how much Luis Eduardo Aute has evolved as a singer. All of songs on Auterretratos Vol.1 and have something to say letting alone Autotango del Cantautor. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists.
