Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Spitz on ‘haru no uta’. Lead single “haru no uta” and “arifureta jinsei” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is one of the best Cd’s Spitz has dropped to date. haru no uta and arifureta jinsei is really good.
arifureta jinsei - I just love it. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. yasashikunairitaina (3:53) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. nampla biyori is outstanding work of Spitz. masayume is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. honoho defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. watari is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. koi no hajimari is a striking and quite long song. jitensha - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. It took me a little time but I ended up loving tatum oneal. In ai ni iku yo the music gets its power. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
