This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Machine Men. Lead single “Falling” and “Dream and Religion” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I am not a real Metal: Heavy music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Elegies’ really is amazing. Machine Men “Elegies” is an amazing album.
This track is just a stunning masterpiece. The opening track Apathy is very much like you would expect from other albums. I now have Back From The Days as one of my personal favorites. The Traitor is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. October - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Only one song from Elegies named Daytime Theatre really got me. From the moment you listen to Doors Of Resurrection you’re hooked. I believe From Sunrise To Sunset is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. It’s such an underrated song.
