Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Leo Mattioli on ‘Me Preocupa Sin Ti’. Since Leo Mattioli last CD (En Directo: Piel Con Piel) on Sparrow Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. Self-described as Latin with lots of words, Leo Mattioli comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is one of Leo Mattioli best albums
First time I heard Tu Mujer En Mi Cama was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Conmigo Te Gusto - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Si Tu Te Vas is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. You can find feelings on this piece of art. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. All of songs on En Directo: Piel Con Piel and have something to say letting alone Contigo Me Gusta. Tramposa Y Mentirosa is astounding song though, very addictive. Aunque Te Duela is probably the most interesting track on En Directo: Piel Con Piel. Es Imposible Volar Al Cielo has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Leo Mattioli’s strong vocals come to the fore. Cada Vez Te Quiero Mas - For me, this is the best of the album. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. In Despues De Ti Leo Mattioli is at his best. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Y Se Que Lloraras is my favorite song on En Directo: Piel Con Piel. I like the idea behind Gran Querer No Se Olvida. Con El No Soportas is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after En Directo: Piel Con Piel have ended. Nunca Me Faltes Amor is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Le Pido A Dios catches attention immediately,
