This album has some very good songs like Robots Overture and Rivet Town Parade. Since John Powell last CD (Robots) on EMI Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by John Powell. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Rivet Town Parade is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. John Powell sings his heart out in Bigweld TV/Creating Wonderbot. Wonderbot Wash presents the cool mix of instruments on Robots. John Powell offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. John Powell must have run out of lyrics on the next track Crosstown Express. Such hits like Wild Ride will leave you hooked. Madam Gasket one of the best in my collection. I was truly moved when I heard Chop Shop. Opening track Meet the Rusties shows the best of John Powell. The song Bigweld Workshop ending is my favorite… so catchy! This song stands out greatly from the others. Gathering Forces is the song that really did it for me. Escape is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. In Deciding to Fight Back it becomes nowhere more obvious that John Powell has yet to define own style. Attack of the Sweepers is cool work of John Powell. Butt Whoopin catches attention immediately, Homecoming is cool and different song. Dads Dream as a highlight of Robots contains a ton of astounding melodies.
