fourteen years ago, Kick Axe briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Rockin Daze”. Kick Axe had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. For older fans Iv will put a massive smile accross your face. Great Rock: Hard-Rock right here!
It’s a great pleasure to listen to Rockin Daze from the beginning to the end. Strong, powerful vocals of Kick Axe in Consolation are very impressive. Lyrics of Turn To Stone are precise and evocative. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. The song Who Knows Ya ending is my favorite… so catchy! Woe is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Overall a nice softer song. Slip Inside My Dream is a cool song and it grows on you. Kick Axe breathes new life into the music in Who Says. Rock N Roll Dog is a medium tempo tune. Black Heart is pretty funky and mellow. No Kick Axe song has come close to capturing my attention as City Lights did. The Only Ones Here is probably one of Kick Axe’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to.
