Aguantando el tiron isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I am not a real Rap: Hip-Hop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Aguantando el tiron’ really is amazing. This -song debut EP shows the promise that La Excepcion has. La puerta abierta is the song that really did it for me. Jeeesus is a good listen every once in a while. El tio Aquiles - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. I was truly moved when I heard Interludio: Te vendo una guita. Sin escaleras era mi escuela is beautiful, yet underrated track. Voice of La Excepcion in Aguantando el tiron is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. After about the third Flow y al compas listen through, I began to believe this song is La Excepcion’s essence. Jambo loco is cool song though, very addictive. Vocals of La Excepcion in Cachitos, scratches y toallita really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of La Excepcion. I hope to keep hearing La Excepcion works for a long time to come. Interludio: Peludo has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. I like the idea behind El Besolla F.S.. Tai-Tabu is a song to enjoy for years to come. Rap peludo - A strong beat. Pukaboom - This is a very lively song. Music and lyrics of No a la tala creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Marcao pa to la vida still maintains something of a specific flourish. La Excepcion rocks harder than ever with Rap’in Pan Ben. El outro gives taste of what makes La Excepcion special as a musician.
