Thom Yorke has compared writing for Jason Hayes’s new album to that on ‘World Of Warcraft’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. The Shaping Of The World (Exclusive Track) is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Legacy (Exclusive Track) one of the best in my collection. Song Of Elune (Exclusive Track) is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Echoes (Exclusive Track) is another strong production from Jason Hayes. A Call To Arms is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. I love the melodic melody of Seasons Of War (Intro Movie) and to this day it makes me feel good. Some of the arrangements found on World Of Warcraft are surprisingly edgy. Orgrimmar (City Theme) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Jason Hayes. The song feels complete. Don’t judge Darnassus (City Theme) on the first listening. I like the idea behind Ironforge (City Theme). I find myself hearing bits of Elwynn Forest (Ambient) here and there throughout my waking hours. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. This song may be the most meaningful. Burning Steppes (Ambient) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after World Of Warcraft have ended. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Shimmering Flats (Ambient), which shows, blatantly, how much Jason Hayes has evolved as a singer. Felwood (Ambient) is absolutely incredible. This song stands out greatly from the others. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. In Teldrassil (Ambient) Jason Hayes spins a tale you want to hear to the end. This track is full of harmonies and gets World Of Warcraft off to a relaxing start. Moonfall (Intro Cue) is a very catchy tune. Ruins (Intro Cue) - This is a very lively song. I have all of Jason Hayes’s tracks and Temple (Intro Cue) is probably the most his introspective effort. Lurking (Intro Cue) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through World Of Warcraft. The opening track Sacred (Intro Cue) is very much like you would expect from other albums. After you’ve listened to Graveyard (Intro Cue), most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. War (Intro Cue) is a bit different from Jason Hayes stereotypical stuff.
