fifteen years ago, Forgotten Tomb briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Kill Life”. This is the first studio album from Forgotten Tomb since bad diagnosis in 2004. Love’s Burial Ground isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. To me Forgotten Tomb is the best band ever.
The first time I listened to Kill Life I was struck by its amazing sound. Put Alone into car stereo for your highway driving It’s such an underrated song. Still going through Love’s Burial Ground and coming to appreciate Malus Vivendi Part II more and more with every listen. The sound in Love’s Burial Ground is really warm and Forgotten Tomb’s signature voice is still very much present. Slave To Negativity makes a person feel excellent. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Malus Vivendi Part III to me is the best you can get from Forgotten Tomb.
