‘Next Level 2 CD1′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. DJ Friction had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It has been ten years DJ Friction’ last studio CD, “Next Level 2 CD1″ which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is my first DJ Friction Album and i must say i am blown away.
Bell Tune (Dillinja) - A strong beat. Game Over (TC) (2:10) a good melody. Charming song, great melody. I now have Back To Your Roots (Friction & K-Tee remix) (Mr. L) as one of my personal favorites. Drive In Drive By / Ska (Baron / Zinc) is astounding. DJ Friction rocks harder than ever with Redline (Fierce & Break). Back To The Jungle (State Of Mind) is simple, dignified and effective, DJ Friction refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Tyranny (D Bridge & Fierce) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Dumpling (Chase & Status) - This one makes me want to not only sing along. If you are a DJ Friction fan, you will love Electric (Commix). In Juno 6 (Logistics) full palet of sound is used by DJ Friction to accentuate the presentation. I was truly moved when I heard Surreality (feat. Chris SU) (State Of Mind). Wheres My Money (TC) gets you up and jumping. The Shadow Knows (Shimon) is the funkiest number on the album. DJ Friction is hitting on all cylinders in Who U / Phantom Force (Dillinja / Digital & Spirit). Bass Phenomenon (DJ Friction remix) (Krafty Kuts) is another strong production from DJ Friction.
