On Ni El Primero Ni El Ultimo album, David Civera have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Such great and happy songs.
Salva Mi Corazon is beautiful, yet underrated track. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is El Orgullo Y La Visa. Como Yo Te Amo is a very catchy tune. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. La Manera De Entregar El Alma is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. This track is clearly meant to showcase David Civera’s vocal abilities. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Si Preguntas Por Ella because the melody in the chorus is so good. What sets True apart is David Civera’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. David Civera offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
