On the Holland charts, superstar Camela’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. On Por Siempre Tu y Yo album, Camela have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Por Siempre Tu y Yo carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Por Siempre Tu y Yo.
The sound of Por Siempre Tu Y Yo is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. I believe Diselo is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. Camela has astounded me with this amazing track. This is one hell of a track. Ya No Te Necesito is exquisite and different song. No Has Dejado De Llorar is a marvelous, simple song by Camela at the top of his game. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Me Tienes Que Olvidar (4:10) a good melody. In Un Angel De Cristal the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Voice of Camela in Es Tu Secreto is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
