After debuting at No. 1 last week, Bob Baldwin’s album Brazil Chill falls to No. 2 with 192,000, a sales slide of 72%. While no new Bob Baldwin album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2004 tour in Asia. This disc has all of the essential Bob Baldwin classics. This is one of Bob Baldwin best albums
I think Cafezinho is the best song Bob Baldwin has ever done. Manhattan Samba catches attention immediately, I now have I Wanna Be Where You Are as one of my personal favorites. Music and lyrics of Everybody’s Beautiful (In Brazil) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. No Bob Baldwin song has come close to capturing my attention as Late Night Samba (Interlude) did. Musically Last Call (For Love) is superior to other tracks in Brazil Chill. Brazil Chill is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Sho Nuff - This is a very lively song. Beijos (The Kiss) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Carnival marked the continuation of Bob Baldwin in style evolution. I Wanna Be Where You Are (Reprise) is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.
