This is one of the best Cd’s Devin The Dude has dropped to date. For older fans Chopped and Screwed will put a massive smile accross your face. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Devin The Dude energies, virtually a rebirth. If I may, I suggest “Sticky Green (feat. Scarface)”. That one song is amazing!
Do What You Wanna Do - Check out that bassline! See What I Can Pull still maintains something of a specific flourish. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. I have all of Devin The Dude’s tracks and Mo Fa Me is probably the most his introspective effort. The Dude (Interlude) on Chopped and Screwed is solid and easy to listen to. The Dude can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Devin The Dude is all about. Like A Sweet (feat. Scarface, Jugg Mugg, Killemall) is cool song though, very addictive. Devin The Dude sings his heart out in Ligole Bips (feat. Odd Squad and K.B.). Alright (feat. Randy-Ran) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Devin The Dude. I came to like Don’t Wait (feat. DMG and Spice 1). In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Devin The Dude. Music in Show Em’ is cool as in all tracks of Chopped and Screwed. I Can’t Quit is one of the more up-tempo songs on Chopped and Screwed. I can’t stop playing One Day At A Time (feat. K-Dee and K.B.). Can’t Change Me (feat. K-Dee and K.B.) is a fine track on any terms. Devin The Dude breathes new life into the music in Georgy (feat. Kuirshan).
