‘It’s All Good’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Brian Simpson was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Brian Simpson and It’s All Good together. Brian Simpson’s debut, ‘It’s All Good’, does not fit easily into one genre. Brian Simpson “It’s All Good” is an amazing album.
It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Here With You, which shows, blatantly, how much Brian Simpson has evolved as a singer. I like Saturday Cool because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Twilight - This is a very lively song. In And The Story Goes it becomes nowhere more obvious that Brian Simpson has yet to define own style. I’ve found myself listening to Waiting back to back and back many times. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is I Remember When because the melody in the chorus is so good. It Could Happen is probably the most interesting track on It’s All Good. What sets Blues for Scott apart is Brian Simpson’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Au Contraire makes a person feel excellent.
