Asperity had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It’s natural for Asperity to take a stab at ‘Will They Come’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Asperity’s album 2004 The Final Demand falls to No. 2 with 702,000, a sales slide of 68%. This is what good Metal: Progressive should be.
So much energy, so exciting a sound.Asperity sings The Pray in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Soul Collector. I’ll Never Understand is absolutely incredible. In The Final Demand the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. After about the third The Man With 1000 Faced listen through, I began to believe this song is Asperity’s essence. Past Life is worth the money. Rebellion - My least favorite song on this album. My Sad Eyes is the more seemingly obscure song on 2004 The Final Demand that bear up best to repeated listening. Simple and heartfelt closing track Pleasur and Pain (Bonus) closes 2004 The Final Demand on a high note.
