This is one of the best Cd’s Through The Eyes Of The Dead has dropped to date. ‘Bloodlust’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. On Bloodlust album, Through The Eyes Of The Dead have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
I love the melodic melody of Two Inches From A Main Artery and to this day it makes me feel good. One listen to the sheer beauty of When Everything Becomes Nothing was all I needed. The song feels complete. When listening to Beneath Dying Skies, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. In The Black Death and Its Aftermath it becomes nowhere more obvious that Through The Eyes Of The Dead has yet to define own style. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. With Eyes Ever Turned Inward is one of these floating songs. No Through The Eyes Of The Dead song has come close to capturing my attention as Force Fed Trauma did. Best song on the album, love it. Outro is a medium tempo tune.
