five years ago, The Concretes briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Sunbeams”. Self-described as Indie with lots of words, The Concretes comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lead single “On The Radio” and “Sunbeams” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I Love In Colour from start to finish!
Sunbeams is one of my favorite songs by The Concretes. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Your Call rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Fiction - Okay, I just talked about depth. Tomorrow motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. As Four presents the excellent mix of instruments on In Colour. Charming song, great melody. In A Way Of Life you won’t find any flashy solos. Ooh La La - a classic song. I now have Song For The Songs as one of my personal favorites.
