After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Kelly Family’s album Homerun falls to No. 2 with 266,000, a sales slide of 82%. While no new The Kelly Family album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2004 tour in South America. The Kelly Family’s debut, ‘Homerun’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Music in Blood is perfect as in all tracks of Homerun. Opening track Break The Walls shows the best of The Kelly Family. Album opener Burning Fire is a bright, upbeat ditty. You have to get essence of the Carry My Soul’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. DonVeT Always Want is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. DonVeT Be So Unhappy is a very catchy tune. Edge Of Happiness (4:53) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Everybody Is Beautiful is pretty funky and mellow. Flip A Coin is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. From the moment you listen to I Wish The Very Best you’re hooked. I think IVeLl Be There is the best song The Kelly Family has ever done. Intro: China Keitetsi good vocals. Intro: Mother Theresa motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. I came to like Strange World. Street Kid (Gucci Shit) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. If you are a The Kelly Family fan, you will love Walking. The song feels complete.
