After seeing Introduction, I had to have a good Fort Minor cd. Since completing 2005’s ‘Introduction’, Fort Minor fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. It has been eight years Fort Minor’ last studio CD, “The Rising Tied” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Remember The Name
The song Remember The Name ending is my favorite… so catchy! Right Now gives taste of what makes Fort Minor special as a musician. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in The Rising Tied. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Feel Like Home because the melody in the chorus is so good. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Still going through The Rising Tied and coming to appreciate In Stereo more and more with every listen. When listening to Back Home, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. In Cigarettes you won’t find any flashy solos. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Fort Minor sings Get Me Gone in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. I like to sing along with High Road, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Kenji is a bit different from Fort Minor stereotypical stuff. I believe Red To Black is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. Battle has a fun tempo. Slip Out The Back - A classic Fort Minor track.
