Since completing 2005’s ‘Endless’, Secret Sphere fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Heart and Anger isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Self-described as Metal: Power with lots of words, Secret Sphere comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Where The Sea Ends is worth the money. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Loud and Raw is a song to enjoy for years to come. Dance With The Devil make listening to Secret Sphere like being in some sort of time warp. I like the agression and power of Set Me Free. The sound in I Won’t Say A Word is really warm and Secret Sphere’s signature voice is still very much present. Heart and Anger couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Lights On. Leonardo Da Vinci is the more seemingly obscure song on Heart and Anger that bear up best to repeated listening. Opening track You Still Remain shows the best of Secret Sphere. When listening to Bad Blood, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. No Reason Why is almost impossible to review. Faster Than The Storm is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.
