This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that Ocelot has. Since completing 2005’s ‘Intro’, Ocelot fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After seeing Intro, I had to have a good Ocelot cd. One of Ocelot’s best albums yet.
Snickety Snack was the first single release from the album VectorSelector (cd2). The song feels complete. Penumbra is nothing but pure genius. Snooze Kontrol - My least favorite song on this album. Electrix Connectrix - A strong beat. Lyrics of Upward Spiral are precise and evocative. This song stands out greatly from the others. Simple and heartfelt closing track Livnoc Tulor closes VectorSelector (cd2) on a high note.
