There is so much to love about Mychael Danna, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Since Mychael Danna last CD (Capote Academy Promo) on Virgin Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. Capote Academy Promo is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Audiotrack 02 - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Mychael Danna must have run out of lyrics on the next track Audiotrack 03. Audiotrack 04 very upbeat. Audiotrack 05 is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Blew our minds when we first heard Audiotrack 06. Audiotrack 07 gives good insight into the truths. So much energy, so exciting a sound.This track is full of harmonies and gets Capote Academy Promo off to a relaxing start. Vocals of Mychael Danna in Audiotrack 10 really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Mychael Danna sings his heart out in Audiotrack 12. A great put together song. Audiotrack 14 is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Audiotrack 15 is a great opener for Capote Academy Promo.
