This album has some very good songs like You Still Believe In Me and One Life Away. IF YOU LIKE ALL M Ward’S SONG GO FOR IT! On Transistor Radio album, M Ward have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album is awesome.
M Ward is one of artists that allow his songs like One Life Away to stand on their own and be heard. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Hi-Fi stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Transistor Radio couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Four Hours In Washington. Regeneration #1 is the gorgeous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Big Boat - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Strong, powerful vocals of M Ward in Pauls Song are very impressive. Radio Campaign is a bit of a show-tune. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Deep Dark Well is simple, dignified and effective, M Ward refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. I find myself hearing bits of Oh Take Me Back here and there throughout my waking hours. Ill Be Yr Bird good vocals. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Transistor Radio is Lullaby + Exile. So much energy, so exciting a sound.
