Since Goldie Lookin Chain last CD (Greatest Hits) on Savoy Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is no doubt that Goldie Lookin Chain has talent. I am not a real Retro music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Greatest Hits’ really is amazing. Greatest Hits is the best essence of Goldie Lookin Chain.
Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. I listened to the opening track Half Man Half Machine and liked it a lot. Rollerdisco is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Soap Bar is a exquisite, simple song by Goldie Lookin Chain at the top of his game. Billy Webb’s Lament is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Goldie Lookin Chain ever produced. Your Mother’s Got A Penis is one of my favorite songs by Goldie Lookin Chain. The Maggot is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Greatest Hits. Song You Knows I Loves You is actually a funny song. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. It’s such an underrated song. Blew our minds when we first heard Time To Make A Change.
