Since completing 2005’s ’sunnyroad’, Ministry Of Sound fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album is a scorcher!

Music in op - the otherside is exquisite as in all tracks of Chillout Sessions, Vol. 8. turn it round again - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. moanin has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Such hits like climbing up the walls__zero 7 mix will leave you hooked. new light of tomorrow__bonobo remix is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. danse macabre is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. the most beautiful girl is simple, dignified and effective, Ministry Of Sound refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. lovin’ you more__that big track mosquito chillout mix great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.burning up is probably the highlight of the album. rondo acapricio is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Ministry Of Sound released so far. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. first love is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. latin player is so unique, as each one of the songs is. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Ministry Of Sound emotions are reflected through ‘95 aka make things right. sunshine eyes is excellent and different song. time is my everything__album version is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Chillout Sessions, Vol. 8 have ended. comfortably numb sets the tone for the entire album. mindtrip gives taste of what makes Ministry Of Sound special as a musician. the funk is still alive__ryralio djs mix - A classic Ministry Of Sound track. dust is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Once another day gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. spirits__lights out mix - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Ministry Of Sound. second wind is probably one of Ministry Of Sound’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. light of day - A strong beat. If you are a Ministry Of Sound fan, you will love most precious love__franck roger remix. Overall a nice softer song. I find myself hearing bits of el divorcee here and there throughout my waking hours. Ministry Of Sound has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Best song on the album, love it. I loved swimming places the first time I heard it. cali spaces__kaskade mix is beautiful, yet underrated track. Chillout Sessions, Vol. 8 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track 7 mile. A great put together song. There is excellent mix of music in watch the sunrise__original ha ha ha mix. love generation__club mix is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined.
