This is one of the best Cd’s Rocio Jurado has dropped to date. On Rocio Siempre album, Rocio Jurado have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There is so much to love about Rocio Jurado, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Rocio Jurado is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Punto de partida (con Monica Naranjo) gets you up and jumping. Vibro (con David Bisbal) is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Rocio Siempre. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Me ha dicho la luna (con Chayanne) - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Como una ola is just simply stunning. A que no te vas (con Raphael) is exquisite work of Rocio Jurado. This track is a great song that still never gets old. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Ese hombre (con Rosario Mohedano) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Lo siento mi amor (con Paulina Rubio) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Amor callado (con Falete) is one of the best records ever. Senora is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Si amanece is a striking and quite long song.
