This is the first studio album from Mercan Dede since bad diagnosis in 2005. Mercan Dede was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Mercan Dede and Su together. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Mercan Dede. Mercan Dede “Su” is an amazing album.
The sound of Ab-i Lal is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. First time I heard Ab-i Zen was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.I came to like Ab-i Tarab. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Best song on the album, love it. Ab-i Cesm is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Ab-i Nar - I like this one. Ab-i Beste is the first taste of the new album. Ab-i Nafi is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Ab-i Hazan is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Ab-i Verd has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
