‘Dejate Querer’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There were many famous songs of Los Huracanes del Norte available. Since completing 2005’s ‘Poeta’, Los Huracanes del Norte fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Poeta and Nada Contingo is really good.
In Nada Contingo full palet of sound is used by Los Huracanes del Norte to accentuate the presentation. Vencido pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. En Caliente is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Dejate Querer is a very catchy tune. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Dejate Querer. Me Han Pasado Cosas Peor is probably one of Los Huracanes del Norte’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Ya Vez (aka Es Dificil Olvidarnos) is the more seemingly obscure song on Dejate Querer that bear up best to repeated listening. Juanita y Julian is perfect. Arrepentido is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined.
