This album has some very good songs like All I Know Is Tonight and Stardust Hotel. Since Jaga Jazzist last CD (What We Must) on Blue Note Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. What We Must isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. One of Jaga Jazzist’s best albums yet.
Stardust Hotel is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. For All You Happy People is probably the most interesting track on What We Must. Oslo Skyline is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Jaga Jazzist released so far. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in What We Must. Mikado very upbeat. I Have A Ghost Now What? is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever.
