After debuting at No. 1 last week, God Dethroned’s album The Lair Of The White Worm falls to No. 2 with 560,000, a sales slide of 54%. There is so much to love about God Dethroned, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Since God Dethroned last CD (The Lair Of The White Worm) on EMI Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. Check it every song is worth the money for the The Lair Of The White Worm CD!
I find myself hearing bits of Arch Enemy Spain here and there throughout my waking hours. Sigma Enigma which is my favorite is a truly God Dethroned sounding song. In The Lair Of The White Worm the music gets its power. In Rusty Nails full palet of sound is used by God Dethroned to accentuate the presentation. Loyal To The Crown Of God is absolutely incredible. Last Zip Of Spit (4:20) a good melody. In The Grey Race you won’t find any flashy solos. Salt In Your Wounds has a fun tempo.
