seven years ago, Electric Boys briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “All Lips N’ Hips”. This album has some very good songs like Psychedelic Eyes and All Lips N’ Hips. This is one of the best Cd’s Electric Boys has dropped to date. Electric Boys is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Electric Boys is one of artists that allow his songs like All Lips N’ Hips to stand on their own and be heard. Who Are You is the first taste of the new album. Electrified is a very catchy tune. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. In Halleluja! I’m On Fire the music gets its power. Cheek To Cheek (In A Moonlit World) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Voice of Electric Boys in Get Nasty is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Musically Party Up is superior to other tracks in Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride (Remastered). Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride (Remastered) have ended. Rags To Riches is nothing but pure genius. One listen to the sheer beauty of The Change was all I needed. The song feels complete. Captain Of My Soul is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Into The Woods is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Psychedelic Eyes (Live) catches attention immediately, Into The Ditch (Live) - I just love it. All Lips N’ Hips (Early Drum Machine Version) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Electric Boys.
