Lead single “Every Once In A While” and “Virginia” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. fourteen years ago, Bruce Robison briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Virginia”. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Bruce Robison’s new album to that on ‘Eleven Stories’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. If I may, I suggest “Every Once In A While”. That one song is amazing!
Virginia good vocals. This song may be the most meaningful. More and More still maintains something of a specific flourish. Days Go By is a very catchy tune. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Don’t Call It Love defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. You Really Let Yourself Go is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. I Never Fly gives good insight into the truths. I like Kitchen Blues because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Bandera Waltz is a fine track on any terms.
