So much energy, so exciting a sound.I listened to the opening track Livin and Lovin Lie and liked it a lot. I believe It Just Aint There For Me No More is one of the most amazing, heartfelt songs ever written. Jesus Christ is Still The King - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Once you hear Slim Chance and the Cant Hardly Playboys (with Kevin Fowler), you will listen to it over and over. It’s a great pleasure to listen to I Changed My Mind from the beginning to the end. Sweet Melody is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Billy Joe Shaver emotions are reflected through Valentine (with Nanci Griffith). This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Down the Road by the Way the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. West Texas Waltz (with Kimmie Rhodes) without a doubt is the standout song of The Real Deal. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. You have to get essence of the If the Trailers A Rockin Dont Come Knockin’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Billy Joe Shaver. No Billy Joe Shaver song has come close to capturing my attention as Aunt Jessies Chicken Ranch did. The opening track Billy Joe shave r- feliz navidad is very much like you would expect from other albums.
