Live From Mars carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Self-described as Country with lots of words, Albert Lee comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Live From Mars isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Such great and happy songs.
I hope to keep hearing Albert Lee works for a long time to come. It’s such an underrated song. Evangelina - My least favorite song on this album. Till I Gain Control Again is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Restless - another great track from the Live From Mars album. Put My Baby Thinks He’s A Train into car stereo for your highway driving Music in Just Because is perfect as in all tracks of Live From Mars. Seventeenth Summer good vocals. Albert Lee emotions are reflected through Tear It Up. Live From Mars couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Tiger Rag (bonus track).
