Self-described as Indie with lots of words, Willy Mason comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Willy Mason on ‘Gotta Keep Moving’. Jim Jones has compared writing for Willy Mason’s new album to that on ‘Where the Humans Eat’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
All You Can Do is the song that really did it for me. In Still A Fly the music gets its power. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Where The Humans Eat, which shows, blatantly, how much Willy Mason has evolved as a singer. I think Fear No Pain is the best song Willy Mason has ever done. One listen to the sheer beauty of Hard Hand To Hold was all I needed. Letter #1 - A nice song. Sold My Soul is outstanding work of Willy Mason. I now have So Long as one of my personal favorites. Oxygen - This one is lively and fun. 21st Century Boy is one of the coolest songs Willy Mason has ever recorded. Our Town have really caught my ear and imagination.
