six years ago, The Wildhearts briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Jonesing For Jones”. Since completing 2004’s ‘Girlfriend Clothes’, The Wildhearts fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by The Wildhearts. IT makes me wanna dance!
Jonesing For Jones without a doubt is the standout song of Strike Back CD2. Suckerpunch rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Beautiful Thing You (4:11) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! In Turning American the music gets its power. Strike Back CD2 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Loch Ness Interlude. A unique and uplifting song. Cheers is another strong production from The Wildhearts. Nothing Ever Changes But The Shoes - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Dangerlust is the song that really did it for me. Music in Love U Til I Don’t is excellent as in all tracks of Strike Back CD2. The Wildhearts must have run out of lyrics on the next track Weekend ‘96.
